Advanced Care Residential Manager – Full Time

At Latham Centers, a world‑renowned leader in supporting individuals with complex special needs, we’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Advanced Care Residential Manager to join our Adult Services team. If you’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of medically complex adults and have a strong background in residential care and team leadership, this is your opportunity to lead with purpose.

In this role, you’ll oversee day‑to‑day operations at one of our adult residential homes, ensuring exceptional care, team collaboration, and compliance with state regulations. You’ll also serve as a key liaison with medical professionals, guardians, and community partners.

Responsibilities
  • Hold regular 1:1 and team meetings with staff; complete 90‑day and annual evaluations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor ISPs for compliance with all standards.
  • Manage home budget, expenses, invoices, and petty cash.
  • Maintain resident records, incident reports, and staff documentation.
  • Ensure full compliance with licensing and regulatory standards.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate direct support staff.
  • Support staff growth through ongoing training and feedback.
  • Attend scheduling meetings to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
  • Foster a positive, supportive team environment.
  • Provide hands‑on care support, including hygiene, meals, and medication administration.
  • Implement behavior plans and ensure follow‑through.
  • Coordinate medical care and attend appointments with residents.
  • Develop innovative strategies for medically complex individuals.
  • Oversee MAP procedures and medication documentation.
  • Help residents reach personal goals and build independence.
  • Act as liaison with guardians, family, and external professionals.
  • Promote a safe, health‑focused, and respectful home environment.
  • Address all home and vehicle maintenance needs promptly.
  • Lead emergency drills and manage house safety plans.
  • Collaborate with clinical and medical team members.
  • Submit all required reports to regulatory bodies and leadership.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll and food purchasing.
  • Track progress through assessment and ISP data.
  • Build strong relationships with DDS staff and community partners.
  • Join after‑hours on‑call rotation and respond to emergencies.
  • Lead regular staff and resident meetings.
  • Submit and follow up on HCSIS and incident documentation.
Qualifications
  • Willingness to learn and lead with empathy.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field preferred.
  • One year of supervisory experience or five years of experience in residential treatment.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • MAP Certification, CPI, and CPR/First Aid required (can be earned upon hire).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to intervene in instances of extreme behavior that may jeopardize the safety of residents and staff.

Compensation & Schedule

Compensation: $65,000 - $69,000 (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Latham may be able to provide temporary individual housing based on availability.
