Salary: $115,000 - $160,000 annual salary + comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance
The ARRA Group, a boutique healthcare recruitment+consultancy firm, has been retained by our client, a major health system throughout southern Massachusetts, to hire an experienced and innovative Surgical Services Nurse Manager.
In this exciting position, you'll be part of a community-based health system that offers world‑class healthcare with a personal touch, serving southeastern Massachusetts. As the Nurse Manager of Surgical Services, you’ll be the driving force behind a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability, making a real impact on patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Implement best practices for patient safety and quality care across all surgical services.
- Expand and improve the surgical services offered, working closely with unionized staff and maintaining strong relationships with surgeons.
- Be the go‑to problem solver, working collaboratively to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Empower nursing with ongoing education and development, with focus on delivering outstanding care.
- Champion quality initiatives in the operating room, improve performance metrics, and drive operational efficiency.
- Focus on retaining surgical team and eliminating the need for travel nurses, while also managing hiring, firing, and staff evaluations.
- Oversee the budget for surgical services, including staffing, equipment, and supplies, while ensuring efficient resource utilization.
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- 5+ years of nursing experience within operating room, and surgical services.
- 3+ years successful experience in perioperative nurse management.
- CNOR and MSN a plus.
