You’ll work in a matrix organisation and report operationally through OMNIA Training and functionally through the Raytheon UK Commercial & Subcontract Management team.  Ultimately, you’ll work for the British Army, championing innovation, and helping shape the future of military training.

Raytheon UK is seeking a highly capable and experienced Principal Subcontract Specialist to support and lead key subcontracting activities across the British Army Collective Training Transformation Programme (CTTP). This P3-level role is ideal for a professional with good knowledge of subcontract management, who can work independently, communicate with stakeholders, and drive operational improvements & performance of our suppliers supporting British Army Training.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Subcontractors / Suppliers with moderately sized contracts (10 - 40m) with minimal oversight, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Manage small projects or subcontracting processes with autonomy and accountability for delivery.

Apply advanced knowledge of subcontracting practices to solve difficult and occasionally complex problems across multiple work areas.

Management and negotiation of contracts, non-disclosure agreements and terms and conditions.

Provide coaching and guidance to junior professionals, ensuring quality and consistency in subcontract execution.

Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers, to align on policies, practices, and procedures.

Influence operational decisions and contribute to the development and enhancement of subcontracting processes and systems.

Deliver day-to-day objectives that have a significant impact on operational results within the programme.
