OMNIA Training is primed by Raytheon UK, but all five partners (Raytheon, Rheinmetall, Capita, Skyral and Cervus) are key to delivering the scope of the contract.
Supporting innovation, Rheinmetall Electronics UK (REUK) is entrusted with the trialling and acceptance of new products into the Army training system.

AsSenior Facility & Estates Engineer
you will support the Facilities Lead in managing and improving the use of Defence Training Estates to enable effective military training.
Your role will involve assisting with the planning, coordination, and day‑to‑day delivery of infrastructure‑related tasks, ensuring training environments are safe, accessible, and fit for purpose. Working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will help maintain a catalogue of training sites and their capabilities, to expedite exercise planning.
You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to arrange access to training sites, facilitating the setup, execution, and teardown of exercises and activities. In addition, you will monitor and review how training estates are being used, analysing utilisation data to inform recommendations for improved efficiency, better resource allocation, and future expansion.
This role requires strong organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to balance operational needs with long‑term strategic planning.
Your contributions will be critical in ensuring operational readiness, enabling data‑driven decision‑making, and delivering secure, scalable, and integrated simulation training systems.
What Qualifications You Should HaveCatalogue Management:
- Collate existing facility and infrastructure capability across the various Defence training estates.
- Support the verification of current infrastructure against operational requirements.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive catalogue of Defence Training Estates.
Training Estate Coordination:
- Help arrange and coordinate access to training estates for exercises and activities.
- Liaise with training units to understand scheduling needs and logistical requirements.
- Support setup, execution, and teardown of training activities, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to safety protocols.
Utilisation Review & Reporting:
- Contribute to the monitoring and analysis of estate usage data.
- Prepare draft reports and summaries for review by the Facilities Lead.
- Help identify inefficiencies and suggest areas for further investigation.
