Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electronic Maintenance Technician (Level
1) to join our team in Warner Robins, GA. The role involves repair, modification, and maintenance of electronic equipment and Electronic Warfare systems that are mission critical for the platforms that employ them.

- Support the repairs and manufacturing of electronic assemblies. Troubleshoot electronic assemblies to determine cause and remedy for malfunction applying basic knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks.
- Test and accept assemblies per approved ATP procedures.
- Perform visual and mechanical inspections.
- Prepare Line Replaceable Units for testing; perform touch‑ups.
- Disassemble, repair, and re‑assemble LRUs using electronic work instructions or applicable technical documents. Implement depot service bulletins.
- Interpret drawings and parts lists.
- Clean, inspect, and handle precision optics.
- Maintain and repair shop equipment.
- Utilize common electronic test equipment, lifts, test fixtures, and hand tools.
- Perform basic soldering tasks.
- Document maintenance actions in Ready Blue or applicable data systems; submit replacement parts requests.
- Support projects and meetings to improve repair processes. Provide input and support to production schedules and hours.
- Obtain and maintain all applicable work‑related certifications in a reasonable time frame.
- High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of electronics‑related experience; associate’s degree in Electronics or MOS in Electronics with 3+ years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in Electronics with 1 year of experience.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work various shifts as needed.
- Ability to work on‑site in Warner Robins, Georgia.
- Familiarity with oscilloscopes, digital multimeter (DMM), or similar test equipment.
- Self‑starter with the ability to work with little to no supervision.
- Ability to recognize basic electronic components and work from schematics, diagrams, rough sketches, and verbal instructions.
- Ability to follow test procedures, work instructions and other process documents.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Able to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD clearance.
- Associate’s degree or MOS in Electronics with 3+ years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience.
- Experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) in a lab environment.
- Experience testing and troubleshooting LRU assemblies and sub‑assemblies.
- Experience testing and troubleshooting Electronic Warfare systems.
- Soldering experience or familiarization.
- Current Secret DoD clearance.
Salary Range: $29.37 – $29.37 per hour. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
