Emory Hospital – Warner Robins is seeking full‑time Urgent Care Physicians to join our expanding clinical team. This position is part of the Emory Healthcare Network and combines the autonomy of a community practice with the resources and reputation of Georgia’s most comprehensive academic health system.

Physicians will rotate between three urgent care locations – Lake Joy Med‑Stop, Bonaire Med‑Stop, and Fred Graham Pavilion Med‑Stop – providing a dynamic and fast‑paced environment for patient care. The role offers coordinated clinical support, access to Emory’s integrated care systems, and a competitive compensation package that includes malpractice coverage and full Emory benefits.

Position Details
  • Provide full‑scope urgent care services to patients ranging from newborns to geriatric populations.
  • Rotate across three established sites:
    Lake Joy, Bonaire, and Fred Graham Pavilion.
  • Maintain a consistent and balanced schedule with 12‑hour shifts, three days per week.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure high‑quality, coordinated patient care.

Job Description

The Physician will attend to the needs of all patients within the scope of licensing, training, and credentialing. The Physician will perform patient‑care activities to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a Physician, support adequate practice volume, participate in on‑call duties, actively attend meetings and committees, and practice medicine within current national patient safety goals.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Georgia.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine preferred.
  • Valid DEA certificate without restriction.
  • Experience in outpatient medical practice preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.
  • Computer literate.
