Augusta University is inviting applications for the Department Chair of History, Anthropology, and Philosophy in the Katherine Reese Pamplin College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. The role is tenure-track/tenured at Professor or higher, anticipated to begin July 2027, with a PhD and strong leadership in undergraduate programs.
Reporting to the Dean, the Chair will direct the department, collaborate with the college leadership, and guide ongoing assessment and student success.
