Credence is looking for a senior‑level Configuration Manager to support the Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) program at Robins AFB, GA. The Air Force Distributed Common Ground System is an intelligence enterprise system that links 27 service and partner sites worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure weapon systems meet all legal, regulatory, and policy requirements related to Configuration and Data Management.
  • Manage data for functional, allocated, and product technical baselines of assigned products and programs.
  • Support DM, engineering DM, deficiency reporting, and other OSS&E processes.
  • Document and record systems engineering activities, providing approved configuration information for system or product characteristics.
  • Perform Configuration Planning, Identification, Status Accounting, Verification, Audits, and Change Control in accordance with guidance and applicable policy.
  • Create, update, review, and recommend changes to the CMP, IMP, DSP, Intellectual Property and Data Rights strategies, and CCB policy or plans.
  • Identify CM and DM requirements for programs and policy such as Statements of Work, acquisition strategy plans, acquisition management plans, program documentation, and technical process guides.
  • Plan, conduct, and manage activities and data related to configuration verifications and audits, including system verification reviews, activity configuration audits, physical configuration audits, test plans, test procedures, specifications, engineering data, SW version description documents, SW media, and other technical data.
  • Manage the Configuration Control Board (CCB) process, preparing and maintaining relevant documents such as CCB Directives, Agenda, Minutes, member list, and CCB Charter.
  • Execute appropriate CM requirements for all assigned programs and tasks.
  • Record performance, qualification, fabrication, and acceptance requirements, producing SW release notes.
  • Recommend revisions and draft new CM procedures to meet new or unique program requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Division CM to standardize organizational processes and tools.
  • Manage and track DRs, support Material Improvement Project Review Board (MIPRB) activities, and ensure compliance with TO 00‑35D‑54.
  • Track and manage data necessary to support CM, DM, QA, requirements analysis, risk management, and OSS&E activities in compliance with CMP and AF Systems Engineering Assessment Model (SEAM) best practices.
Education, Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of an active Top‑Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Master’s or Doctorate in a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the relevant technical/professional discipline, five (5) years within DoD acquisition; or
    • or bachelor’s degree and twelve (12) years of experience, five (5) years within DoD acquisition;
    • or fifteen (15) years of directly related experience with proper certifications, eight (8) years within DoD acquisition.
  • CM/DM experience supporting AFLCM of weapon systems or products, identifying CM/DM requirements, and verifying product deliveries.
  • Experience with EIA‑649‑1 CM, DoDI 5000.88, MIL‑HDBK‑61, AF Data Rights Guidebook, AFMCI 63‑1201, Life‑Cycle Systems Engineering, DoD Systems Engineering Guidebook, DoD 5010.12‑M, MIL‑STD‑31000B, MIL‑STD‑963, DoDI 5230.24, AT LCMC Contract DM Standard Process.
Required Professional Qualifications
  • CM Certification in any category:
    • NDIA CDM Certification
    • Configuration Management Principles and Implementation Certification (CMPIC)
    • DAU Certification CLCL 010 Technical Data Management Credential
