Job Description

Our Robins AFB BACN (Battlefield Airborne Communications Node) team is hosting an invitation-only in-person Meet and Greet on Tuesday 9/9, from 5 PM to 7 PM. Hiring managers will be on-site to talk about the BACN program, our culture, and our open roles.

The primary role we are hiring for is our A P Mechanic 2 opportunity.

Basic Qualifications
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification
  • A High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of relevant Aviation Maintenance experience.
  • Possess or be able to quickly obtain a DOD Secret security clearance. An Interim Secret, at a minimum, is required to start.
  • Possess or be able to quickly obtain a US Passport.
  • Ability and willingness to work any shift as required by the Program.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required by the program to include international travel.
  • US Citizenship
Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replace, re-assembly, and adjustment of all aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations.
  • Execute line-maintenance/flight operations support for BACN E-11A (Global Express and Global 6000) aircraft including all electrical mechanical troubleshooting, fault isolation repair, parts replacement, line repairable unit (LRU) replacement, calibration tasks, testing, engine repairs and/or replacements proper documentation in aircraft forms (Air Force Form 781 series).
  • Maintain FAA required records, manuals, and inspection forms
  • Conduct all levels of maintenance and inspections – flight line, in-depth, depot-level) of aircraft and components – in accordance with USAF maintenance procedures in compliance with associated airworthiness approvals.
