Overview

SCA Elec Tech Maintenance 3 (Skill Bridge) - R at Northrop Grumman. This role supports the Northrop Grumman Military Internship Program (DoD Skill Bridge) for transitioning service members. Relocation assistance:

• Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems in electronics repair and maintenance.
• Determine location and density of circuitry, evaluate electromagnetic radiation, isolate malfunctions to component level, and incorporate engineering considerations.
• Exercise independent judgment in circuit analyses, waveform calculations, and tracing signal relationships.
• Use complex test instruments (e.g., high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, complex computer control equipment).
• Support on-site internship activities with supervision in accordance with 40-hour work weeks.
• May provide technical guidance to lower level technicians.

• Associate's degree or equivalent Military Occupational Specialty in electronics repair (or related field) with a minimum of 6 years of electronics/electrical repair experience; or 8 years of direct electronics/electrical repair experience with a HS Diploma/GED.
• interim or active DoD Secret security clearance, or an inactive clearance (last active within 2 years).
• Ability to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia and work any shift.
• Meets DoD Skill Bridge qualifications per DODI 1322.29.

• Experience in manufacturing automated test equipment.
• Understanding of interrelationships of circuits.

• Has served at least 180 days on active duty.
• Within 12 months of separation or retirement.
• Will receive an honorable discharge.
• Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months.
• Has officer authorization from Unit Commander to participate prior to internship start.

Participants are not eligible for compensation from Northrop Grumman and continue to receive military compensation and benefits as Active-duty service members. The program aims to transition interns into potential full-time opportunities upon completion.
