Overview
SCA Elec Tech Maintenance 3 (Skill Bridge) - R at Northrop Grumman. This role supports the Northrop Grumman Military Internship Program (DoD Skill Bridge) for transitioning service members. Relocation assistance:

- Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems in electronics repair and maintenance.
- Determine location and density of circuitry, evaluate electromagnetic radiation, isolate malfunctions to component level, and incorporate engineering considerations.
- Exercise independent judgment in circuit analyses, waveform calculations, and tracing signal relationships.
- Use complex test instruments (e.g., high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, complex computer control equipment).
- Support on-site internship activities with supervision in accordance with 40-hour work weeks.
- May provide technical guidance to lower level technicians.
- Associate's degree or equivalent Military Occupational Specialty in electronics repair (or related field) with a minimum of 6 years of electronics/electrical repair experience; or 8 years of direct electronics/electrical repair experience with a HS Diploma/GED.
- interim or active DoD Secret security clearance, or an inactive clearance (last active within 2 years).
- Ability to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia and work any shift.
- Meets DoD Skill Bridge qualifications per DODI 1322.29.
- Experience in manufacturing automated test equipment.
- Understanding of interrelationships of circuits.
- Has served at least 180 days on active duty.
- Within 12 months of separation or retirement.
- Will receive an honorable discharge.
- Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months.
- Has officer authorization from Unit Commander to participate prior to internship start.
Northrop Grumman Military Internship Program (NG-MIP) is an approved Skill Bridge program. Participants are not eligible for compensation from Northrop Grumman and continue to receive military compensation and benefits as Active-duty service members. The program aims to transition interns into potential full-time opportunities upon completion.
