Configuration Management Analyst (Level 2 / Principal) – Warner Robins, GA

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Configuration Management or Principal Configuration Management Analyst to support the Integrated Mission Solutions Operating Unit in Warner Robins, GA. This on‑site role focuses on embedded electronic systems for airborne platforms.

• Perform configuration management of technical data for design, production, and sustainment of complex defense systems.
• Plan and coordinate project documentation: engineering drawings, production specifications, schedules, and contract modifications.
• Analyze proposed design changes and determine impact on the overall system.
• Coordinate modification records, establish change orders, and prepare change authorizations with subcontractors.
• Manage Configuration Control Board and/or Technical Review Board activities, conduct configuration identification and audits.
• Collect and analyze CM metrics to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Support other engineering activities related to document management, CAD workflows, and CM process improvement.

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of CM experience in a DoD contracting environment (or 6 years experience in lieu of a degree).
• Knowledge of CM principles, practices, and standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and SharePoint.
• Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Jira, or Siemens Teamcenter.
• Experience in software configuration management in a DoD environment.
• Background in electronic warfare, radar, avionics, or sensor systems support.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.

Salary range: $63,800.00 – $95,800.00. Overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and long‑term incentive options may be available. Northrop Grumman provides health, life, disability, and retirement benefits.
