Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Electronic Maintenance Technician 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Warner Robins, GA. The Electronic Maintenance Technician 3 is responsible for supporting production and manufacturing processes. This includes activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, manufacturing equipment, facilities engineering, material management, and process engineering.

The technician will provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers and interact with internal and external customers. Responsibilities include repairing, modifying, and maintaining a variety of electronic equipment and Electronic Warfare systems.

In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to perform the following tasks:

  • Provide guidance and organize workflow as a team lead in a CCA repair and automated test solutions setting.

  • Interact with internal and external customers regarding product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.

  • Provide reporting as requested to Operations Leadership.

  • Ensure product quality prior to final inspection for all assemblies.

  • Fabricate, assemble, and disassemble electronic subassemblies.

  • Wire circuits, replace components, and repair CCAs.

  • Perform routine electronic preventative maintenance on special test equipment (STE) and test stations.

  • Perform test readings using various instruments, including Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, Curve Tracers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, and Digital Multimeters.

  • Conduct routine engineering tests and detailed experimental testing.

  • Perform calibration checks on electronic instruments.

  • Use practical electronic theory and basic tools.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma/GED and 7+ years of relevant electronics experience.

  • Will consider an Associate's degree (or higher) in an electronics-related field OR Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in an electronics-related position, AND 5+ years of relevant electronics experience.

  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Must be able to work various shifts as needed.

  • Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia.

  • Familiarity with Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeter (DMM), or similar test equipment.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work with little to no supervision.

  • Ability to recognize electronic components and work from schematics, diagrams, rough sketches, and verbal instructions.

  • Ability to follow test procedures, work instructions, and other process documents.

  • Must be able to collaborate in a team environment.

  • Able to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree (or higher) in an electronics-related field OR Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in an electronics-related position.

  • Familiarity or proficiency with Basic Circuit Analysis and testing tools, basic electronics principles, and use of digital and analog components.

  • Familiarity with computer-controlled industrial equipment environments.

  • Familiarity with one or more of these CCA line equipment items or similar products.

  • Familiarity with CCA design, construction, and fabrication.

  • Familiarity or ability to use computer-based CCA design tools and testing programs.

Salary Range: $29 - $29

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
