FWS Student Position – Georgia Military College

Georgia Military College is seeking to hire current students to participate in our Federal Work Study Program at all of our campus locations.

Eligibility and Requirements

• Have completed a financial aid file and confirmed need via FAFSA.
• Maintain “good” standing status according to GMC’s Satisfactory Academic Policy.
• Hold a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass a Background Screen before being officially hired.

Eligibility for participation in the FWS Program is determined by Financial Aid. If your financial aid file/FAFSA is not complete at the time of your application submission, there will be a delay in processing your eligibility. To ensure quick turnaround, verify completion of your financial aid file with your Campus Financial Aid Office before applying.

FWS is a need‑based program. If you are deemed eligible, receiving any additional student loan or other form of financial aid after the initial award may affect your eligibility. Your eligibility could increase or decrease, or you may be deemed ineligible to continue participation. For clarification, contact your Campus Financial Aid office.

Georgia Military College employees are required to enroll in direct deposit as the institution does not issue paychecks. New hires will upload account information during onboarding and may update it via the Paycom Employee Self‑Service portal.
