Medical Assistant – Float – 5 Clinic Locations

Southeast Primary Care Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our collaborative team. The position is full‑time and offers a supportive work environment across five clinic locations.

You will work closely with primary care physicians and healthcare staff to deliver high‑quality patient care, manage appointments, take vitals, and support clinical and clerical tasks.

• Provide immunizations, take vitals, and room patients.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures, including EKG setup and specimen collection.
• Prepare patients for visits, record health histories, and manage clinical documentation.
• Direct phone calls, obtain patient information, and ensure consents/forms are completed.
• Maintain quality standards, deliver excellent customer service, and assist with referrals and laboratory services.
• Manage inventory of supplies and support equipment prep and cleaning.
• Coordinate messages, prior authorizations, and patient calls.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Medical Assistant certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, or RMA). Level‑1 candidates with >5 years experience may be considered if they have no certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via AHA.
• Demonstrated communication skills, compassion, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and administrative processes.
• Ability to conduct tasks independently or as part of a team, manage multiple appointments, and work quickly to ensure patient comfort.
• Computer literacy – Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) and entry‑level systems knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to multiple sites.

• Lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy objects with up to 50 pounds of force.
• Sit and stand for extended periods.
• Use fine motor skills to operate office equipment and medical machinery.
• Understand verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Apply logical reasoning for problem solving.
• Travel to multiple locations as business needs arise.
