Innovative Therapy Concepts is a Physical Therapist owned and operated Therapy management organization founded by Joe Sapp, PT in 2006. We first partnered with Middle Georgia Orthopedics in 2006 to provide management of their therapy services. ITC is searching for a Physical Therapist that is seeking to join an organization that looks to “Elevate the Experience” as we encounter each patient we serve.
This career opportunity allows for a Physical Therapist to practice in the outpatient orthopedic setting with the opportunity to evaluate and treat a variety of surgical and non‑operative patients. Exposure to a diverse caseload treating upper and lower extremity as well as spine patients. Therapist will administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases, to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.

- Review physicians’ referrals and patient medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required.
- Test and measure patients’ strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity, respiration and circulation efficiency, and record findings to develop or revise treatment programs.
- Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on evaluation of patient data.
- Administer manual and therapeutic exercises to improve function, strength, ROM, flexibility, and cardiovascular function.
- Instruct, motivate, and assist patients in performing functional activities and use of assistive devices.
- Apply physical agent modalities (hot/cold packs, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, iontophoresis, TNS, dry needling) and massage.
- Traction treatments when indicated.
- Record treatments, responses, and progress in patient charts.
- Educate patients and families about home treatment procedures.
- Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices; refer to orthotist as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other practitioners to integrate physical therapy treatment.
- Supervise PT assistants or techs as applicable.
- Develop and conduct training programs for medical staff, students, and community groups.
- Engage in research programs and professional communication with other health professionals.
- Active and current Physical Therapist License in Georgia.
- National Physical Therapy Examination passed and state requirements (jurisprudence exam) fulfilled.
- Graduate from a CAPTE‑accredited PT program.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and teamwork skills.
- Strong clinical knowledge and problem‑solving ability.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and electronic health record systems.
- Willingness to work occasional weekend shifts in designated sites.
Requires standing, walking, use of hands, reaching, lifting up to 50 lb and with assistance up to 100 lb. Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration; noise typically moderate.
