What You’ll Do:
  • Maintain an annual calendar of community outreach activities, volunteer opportunities, fundraising initiatives, and events.
  • Coordinate the credit union’s volunteer program, including communications, scheduling, participation tracking, and recognition activities.
  • Coordinate the Brand Ambassador Program, including communications, scheduling, participation tracking, and engagement activities.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for community organizations and external partners.
  • Maintain volunteer and community engagement records and participation data.
Support Event and Fundraising Coordination
  • Coordinate logistics for community outreach activities, employee engagement initiatives, fundraising campaigns, financial education programs, and related events.
  • Manage event registrations, supplies, signage, promotional materials, setup, breakdown, and follow-up activities.
  • Coordinate volunteers, Brand Ambassadors, vendors, and community partners to support successful event execution.
  • Represent the credit union at community events and activities as needed.
Administrative Support
  • Track community engagement expenses and assist with budget monitoring.
  • Maintain records, files, and documentation for events, volunteers, community partnerships, and engagement activities.
  • Track event timelines, deadlines, and deliverables to help ensure commitments are completed on schedule.
  • Assist with reporting and other administrative tasks related to community engagement activities.
  • Support special projects and other community engagement initiatives as assigned.
Additional Functions
  • Collaborate with internal departments to promote community involvement and employee engagement.
  • Promote volunteer and community engagement opportunities and encourage employee participation.
  • Represent the credit union in a positive and professional manner at community events and activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Follows applicable laws and regulations including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements and adheres to Robins Financial Credit Union policies and procedures.

Requirements What You Need To Succeed:

Required

Education & Experience:
  • Associate degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year of experience in customer service, administrative support, event coordination, hospitality, retail, community outreach, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Preferred Education and Experience
    • Experience coordinating events, volunteers, or community activities.
    • Experience working in a financial institution, nonprofit organization, or service-oriented environment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
