American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring GA or compact license and 18 months of L&D experience.
Requirements- Active GA or compact RN license required in hand
- Minimum 18 months of Labor & Delivery experience required
- BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required to start
- Fetal Monitoring certification required to start
- ACLS certification preferred
- EPIC EMR experience required
- IV insertion skills required
- Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- Required to float to other departments and facilities, including Perry Hospital, based on department needs
- Interview process includes a nurse manager interview
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- Former Emory or Houston Perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO requests not falling on or near a holiday are limited to a maximum of 5 days
- RTO requests falling on or near a holiday are limited to a maximum of 3 days
- Only one holiday RTO request is allowed per assignment
