American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a long-term night shift position requiring GA or compact licensure and prior travel experience.

• ICU unit setting at a hospital facility
• NOC shift schedule with 4x12-hour shifts totaling 48 hours per week
• 30-minute meal break included
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to other departments and facilities as needed, based on a monitored departmental rotation

• Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
• BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required at start
• Minimum 18 months of ICU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Vent management experience required
• IV insertion and PICC line experience required
• Meditech charting experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required and must be reflected in work history

• Interview process includes a Nurse Manager interview
• Provide direct ICU-level patient care including ventilator management and IV/PICC line insertion
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former Emory or Houston Perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited, with stricter limits around holidays
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position due to travel experience requirement
