American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week assignment requiring 18 months of tele experience and an active GA or compact RN license.
Details- Pulmonary telemetry unit setting
- 3x12 AM shifts, 36 hours per week
- No on-call requirements
- Uses Meditech charting system
- Active GA or compact RN license required in hand
- 1.5+ years of nursing experience, including 18 months of telemetry experience
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required to start
- Experience with IV insertion and PICC lines required
- EPIC EMR experience required and must be reflected in work history
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible, as local candidates are not accepted
- Former Emory or Houston Perm Staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO requests not falling on or near a holiday are limited to a maximum of 5 days
- RTO requests falling on or near a holiday are limited to a maximum of 3 days
- Only one holiday RTO request is allowed per assignment
