Location: Georgia preferred; candidates based in Ohio or Tennessee will also be considered

The Opportunity
We are exclusively partnering with a progressive, growing fragrance house to appoint a Senior Account Manager focused on expanding its presence with major US consumer packaged goods businesses.
This newly created position combines an existing book of business with a strong new-business development remit. The business is looking for someone who can open doors, build strategic relationships and translate customer needs into commercial growth.
The emphasis is on responsive service, speed to market and innovation-led projects, rather than relying solely on securing core supplier listings. This opportunity suits a commercially driven account manager who enjoys developing business as much as managing established relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow existing business and win new major CPG customers.
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders across procurement, marketing, innovation and research and development.
- Identify opportunities across customer brands, divisions and product categories.
- Partner with internal creative and technical teams to develop solutions aligned with customer needs.
- Manage projects from initial brief through to commercialization.
- Build a strong commercial pipeline, increase customer penetration and expand share of wallet.
- Deliver agreed sales, gross margin and profitability objectives.
- Communicate customer priorities internally and align account activity with the wider US growth strategy.
What We Are Looking For
- Substantial commercial experience within fragrance, specialty ingredients or chemicals, with a proven track record of selling into large, complex CPG organizations.
- Experience managing strategic US accounts alongside developing new business.
- An understanding of supplier capabilities and the ability to connect technical and creative solutions with customer requirements.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building and business development skills.
- Excellent commercial and financial acumen.
- Experience working collaboratively within an international or matrixed organization.
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
Fragrance house experience is valued, but candidates from specialty ingredients or chemicals are also encouraged to apply where they bring relevant CPG relationships and experience navigating complex customer organizations.
