Indra Soft, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Software Engineer IV with an active Secret Clearance to work on our project at Robins Air Force Base, GA. The candidate should communicate effectively, possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and innovative in a fast-paced environment. Must hold and maintain a valid Secret Security Clearance.
The role involves software design, modification, development, and implementation. Support and install software applications and operating systems supporting various business lines. Devise and modify procedures to solve complex problems, debug, participate in testing, and certify software. Lead and coordinate work teams, providing technical support and directing software engineering functions.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from an ABET-accredited school with a minimum 2.9 GPA or equivalent.
- 2+ years’ experience with at least one of the following:
Electronic Warfare, Radar, Sensors and Fusion, Communications, Navigation, Identification, Tactical Data Links and Networks, Information Assurance, Avionics OFPs, Support Equipment, Simulations, or Systems Integration. - 6-8+ years’ experience with application development supporting software and hardware platforms.
- Experience with .NET, Java, Oracle; background in object-oriented programming C/C++ preferred.
- Experience with IDEs such as Visual Studio, C++ Builder, Eclipse.
- Knowledge of software development principles, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to work on software design, development, testing, and debugging.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks.
- Strong English language skills (written and verbal).
- Interest in new technologies and ability to adopt them.
- High drive and ability to learn, lead a team, and carry development workload.
- Must be or be able to become cleared or have an active Secret Security clearance and maintain it.
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ experience working on DoD programs is highly desired.
- Lead software engineering efforts in developing, releasing, and maintaining software applications and operating systems.
- Design, modify, develop, implement, and test software applications.
- Support project software development with team collaboration.
- Design software test criteria, verify functionality and performance.
- Support and install software applications and operating systems.
- Perform testing on LRUs and SRUs for avionics equipment.
- Provide engineering support for testing, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of LRUs/SRUs.
- Conduct test review, analysis, witnessing, and verification of software.
- Support acquisition of new/replacement automatic test systems (ATS).
- Develop web services, web applications, and software for Operational Flight Programs (OFPs) for various weapon systems.
- Design, develop, test, upgrade, document, and maintain software supporting weapon systems.
- Review specifications, develop design documentation, and stay updated with state-of-the-art development tools and techniques.
