Job DescriptionDWM Holdings is seeking a motivated and reliable person to join our growing team as a Project Manager (PM). The PM reports to the Managing Project Manager. They work closely with our customers to align their project’s needs with our products, engineer any necessary product adaptations, and serve as an internal point of contact for the lifecycle (quotation through shipment) of a business opportunity.
This is a high visibility position with significant growth potential. DWM’s ideal PM enjoys problem solving, functions well in ambiguity, and welcomes opportunities to lead strategic initiatives or own essential business processes.
- Assisting customers in selecting products and/or engineering product adaptations that satisfy technical specifications.
- Quoting products and projects in a manner that satisfies profitability targets.
- Collaborating with third party engineers and internal experts to
1) validate the structural integrity of products and product adaptations and
2) prepare submittal drawings and cutsheets for customer approval. - Managing business opportunities throughout their entire lifecycle, from entering the purchase order through shipping finished goods;
Serving as the point of contact for information about a business opportunity. - Coordinating internal resources to promptly resolve product issues;
Communicating issue resolutions to customers. - Identifying opportunities to improve business processes;
Developing and leading the implementation of strategic initiatives within the project management team or throughout the company as business need and capacity allow.
- Bachelor’s Degree. Preferred majors include Engineering and Business Management.
- An ability to handle multiple, complex priorities and balance the needs of each according to business impact.
- A high level of interpersonal skills, including the ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; an ability to clearly communicate technical information to various audiences.
- Available on-site work; DWM is located in Warren, MI.
- Experience working with PLEX, or a similar ERP, and the Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Customer service experience.
- Applies a willingness to learn and adapt to changes and evolving situations.
