At‑Risk Teacher – Great Oaks Academy (National Heritage Academies)

Great Oaks Academy, located in Warren, MI, serves K‑8 students. Since its opening in 2004, the school has focused on educational and behavioral growth for its students.

We are seeking an At‑Risk Teacher to provide instructional support and assessments to students who are below grade level in core content areas. This role involves creating, managing, and participating in a variety of learning environments and activities, and collaborating with staff on student progress.

• Provide instructional support and assessments for students who are below grade level.
• Create, manage, and participate in a variety of learning environments and activities in the applicable core content areas.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative certification requirements. National Heritage Academies will support you through your alternative certification journey.
• Experience working with at‑risk students (preferred).
