Day Shift - Pay Rate: up to $39.28 per hour (based on proven work history)

Our customer is seeking a Senior Process Engineer with GM body-in-white automation experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in:
NX, AutoCAD, STDS/SDP, Proposal layout, Processing, EBOP, Industrial Engineering, Ergonomic evaluation, Weld Staging, PLP/MDM, Siemens, Process Designer, and Team Center
.

Job Description of the Process Engineer:
The Process Engineer evaluates customers products including specifications to develop manufacturing plans and produce the products according to the customer needs. This position requires extensive design & manufacturing expertise as well as an understanding of equipment cost for evaluation purposes. Assists on all aspects of Processing, which includes Process Development, System Layout, Process Verification, Product/Process change impact, cycle time analysis, ergonomic evaluations, joining requirements (weld, SPR, TOX, etc.)

staging, joining equipment selection and validation, Spare Parts, Documentation, Manuals, process reporting, quoting and estimating. Maintains knowledge of PC based software such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Works with Throughput Simulation Operators and Robot Simulation Operators to verify the viability of processes. Understands and follows safety and environmental regulations and identifies safety/environmental concerns in our customer's facilities as well as in their customer's facilities.

Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement. Performs other departmental functions as required. Regular and predictable attendance is essential function of this job.

Required Education background of the Process Engineer:
Associate degree from a two-year college or university or technical school; or one to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
