Universal's experienced management team, with its state-of-the-art technology, provides customized logistics solutions to its customers resulting in proven efficiencies and savings.

• Collaborate daily with managers and leaders while reporting to the Segment Group Controller.
• Prepare monthly financial packages for subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage monthly financial reporting, including account reconciliations and detailed financial analysis.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic decision‑making.
• Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Assist in maintaining and improving internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX and company policies.
• Understand a cost model that lives within multiple systems.

• Proven experience in a publicly traded company with a robust internal control environment.
• 2-5 years of general ledger and financial reporting experience, preferably in a multi-entity and multi-location organization.

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP principles and SOX compliance requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Experience working with multiple ERP and accounting systems is highly desirable.

• A proactive mindset with a strong sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to present financial information clearly to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
