Mobile Pharmacy Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Mobile Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role requires extensive travel (60‑70%) to various locations to assist in pharmacy operations, medication preparation, and patient support. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently in a mobile setting.

Monday‑Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm with rotating weekends.

• Travel to multiple locations to support pharmacy operations and medication distribution.
• Collect information needed to fill prescriptions from customers or healthcare professionals.
• Measure, mix, and label medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Ensure accurate prescription preparation and dispensing.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
• Process insurance claims and handle medication inquiries.
• Ensure inventory control and proper storage of medications during transit.
• Adhere to all safety and security protocols while transporting medications.
• Communicate effectively with pharmacy teams and healthcare professionals.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.

• Pharmacy technician certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Percentage of Travel: 25‑75%.

• Reliable personal vehicle for travel.
• Ability to travel 60‑70% of the time.

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, typing, bending, reaching, and climbing. Ability to push/pull and lift/carry 11‑20 lbs.
