A Guidewire Billing Center Developer is responsible for designing, configuring, and customizing the Guidewire Billing Center application to meet business requirements, including developing and integrating solutions using the Gosu programming language. Key duties include configuring billing rules, payments, and invoicing; integrating with external systems via web services; performing unit and integration testing; and troubleshooting production issues. This role requires collaboration with business analysts and other developers, and participation in Agile development cycles.
Roles and Responsibilities- Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
- Implement required integration/configuration changes as per the business requirements.
- Working knowledge of SOAP / REST web service;
Understanding of XML, XSD, messaging, plugins. - Coordinate with the client business and technology teams in gathering requirements.
- 8-10 years’ experience on Guidewire Billing Center and maintaining applications using tools like Git, Azure Dev Ops, etc.
- 8-10 years’ experience of code release management, understanding agile methodology.
- 8-10 years’ experience well-versed with OOTB Billing center functionalities.
- 8-10 years’ experience in invoicing delinquency, payments, commission, general ledger and casualty.
- 8-10 years’ experience in database sound and performance tuning.
