We are seeking a TOOLMAKER SUPERVISOR for our manufacturing group. This position is responsible to lead the toolmaking activities—from system-level planning and material coordination to hands‑on troubleshooting and repair. You’ll supervise both in‑house toolmakers and contract personnel, ensuring projects stay on track and meet safety, quality, and timeline goals.

Working closely with the Plant Manager and Supply Chain, you’ll help define toolmaking components, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement across the department.

Work type: On-site at local Paslin locations. Not available for remote work.

Expected hours of work: Typical work schedules for this site are 6am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Overtime: This position is for regular, full-time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet the needs of the business.

Travel: This position may require occasional travel to customer sites or local travel to other Paslin locations.

Work Environment: This position operates in a manufacturing site environment. This is a safety-sensitive role, which includes working around moving equipment and machinery.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist. This role requires the use of hand‑operated tools and machine controls. Occasionally required to lift/push/pull up to 25lbs.

Candidate

Qualifications:

• Toolmaker certification or equivalent experience; 8+ years in a toolroom or machine shop
• 3+ years of frontline leadership experience
• Safety knowledge; OSHA 30‑hour is a plus
• Background in integration of automated assembly systems with specific knowledge of mechanical and electrical build requirements; weld systems knowledge is a plus
• Expertise in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and quality systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
