Job Title
CNC Mill Programmer/Operator at AAM – American Axle & Manufacturing
Job SummaryProgram, set up, and operate CNC mills producing tooling and prototypes for AAM’s high‑quality automotive components.
Responsibilities- Program, set up, and operate Makino, DMG Mori 3‑ and 4‑axis horizontal/vertical mills.
- Verify tool stock and tooling before machine insertion.
- Set offsets using touch probe, test indicator, or edge finder.
- Check parts with micrometers, telescoping gauges, calipers, or touch probe.
- Second shift: 4 pm–2:30 pm (10 h).
- High School Diploma.
- Experience programming Makino and Fanuc CNC mills.
- BCBS Healthcare.
- 401(k) retirement.
