Assembler/Sequencer – 2nd Shift (2pm to 10pm)

Job Summary: Assembler or Sequencer responsible for operating production line equipment, finishing products, and reporting any equipment or station issues to the direct supervisor. The role involves repetitive lifting, twisting, and bending in a factory setting with hands‑on interaction within automotive manufacturing.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assemble goods on production lines following applicable work instructions;
- Carry out basic quality and testing checks;
- Follow company’s philosophies and values at all times;
- Maintain a safe work environment through good housekeeping;
- Adhere to safe work practices;
- Monitor the production process and assist the team in achieving production goals;
- Ensure all production and quality systems are followed;
- Communicate information to aid decision-making for improvements;
- Help the team meet customer expectations;
- Feed raw materials into production machinery;
- Store goods and raw materials properly in the warehouse;
- Use lifting equipment to fulfill orders;
- Pack goods to be shipped;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment;
- Effective interpersonal interaction;
- Work on feet for extended periods;
- Flexible shift work, including weekends when required;
- High motivation and interest in manufacturing;
- History of safe work practices;
- Team player, adaptable, willing to work closely with others (within 3 feet);
- Lift up to 40 pounds;
- Stand 8–9 hours per day;
- Good communication skills;
- Good hand‑and‑eye coordination.
Physical Requirements:
- Use lifting gear and stand for extended periods;
- Lift up to 40 pounds and stand 8–9 hours daily.
