Maintenance Technician – Electrical Focus

Automotive Manufacturing | On-Site

Base pay range: $30–$34/hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

  • Friday & Saturday: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Sunday & Monday: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
  • 4-day workweek with rotating day/night shifts
About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical background to keep our automotive manufacturing operations running smoothly. This hands‑on position focuses on electrical troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and safe maintenance practices. If you enjoy solving problems, working independently, and don’t mind an unconventional schedule, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, including control panels, motors, sensors, relays, VFDs, and related components.
  • Perform preventive, planned, and emergency maintenance on production equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and wiring prints.
  • Diagnose electrical flow issues to minimize downtime and support production.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety standards.
  • Assist with equipment setup, adjustments, and new equipment installations.
  • Document work performed and complete maintenance work orders.
  • Communicate equipment issues and solutions with production, engineering, and maintenance teams.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and control panels.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Solid knowledge of electrical safety practices, including LOTO.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently during off-shifts.
  • PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus (programming not required).
