A Day in This Role

Picture your day beginning at a clean, organized workstation inside our prosthetics electronics cell. You review assembly instructions and technical drawings for a microprocessor-controlled knee or foot module, then prep boards and harnesses for precise, reliable connections.

  • Operate soldering tools and related equipment safely and with fine control.
  • Inspect each joint and assembly for quality, accuracy, and conformance to standards.
  • Collaborate with teammates to maintain flow and meet production goals.
  • Assist with additional electro-mechanical assembly tasks as needed.
  • Keep your area clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Proactively report material shortages, discrepancies, or issues to your supervisor.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years of hands‑on soldering experience required; 5+ years preferred.
  • Proficiency with both through‑hole and surface‑mount soldering techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision and quality.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Industry certifications such as IPC‑A‑610 are a plus.
