RN- Unit educator- Medical Surgical midnights

Join Henry Ford Health as an RN Unit Educator in Medical Surgical for a 36-hour midnight shift.

Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nursing Development Educators, you will plan, implement, and evaluate educational and quality improvement activities on the nursing unit. You will serve as a role model for excellence in patient care through clinical practice, continuous quality improvement, and integrating new nursing knowledge into practice. All standards of nursing care and job description standards must be adhered to.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current Michigan RN licensure required
• Preferred:
  Four years of clinical experience with a defined patient population
• Interest and ability to teach patients, families, and co-workers
• Leadership skills, effective communication, problem-solving ability, organizational skills, flexibility, self-direction, and initiative
