Position Overview

The lawn maintenance crew lead oversees daily landscaping operations, ensuring all tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. This role includes supervising crew members, organizing daily schedules, coordinating equipment and materials, and maintaining direct communication with management and clients.

Account manager/supervisor

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 2+ years of landscaping or groundskeeping experience (leadership experience preferred)
  • Clean criminal background
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility
  • Reliable transportation to/from work
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing (Bilingual preferred English/Spanish)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends
  • Physically able to handle the workload in all types of weather and have a full range of mobility in the upper and lower body
  • Able to lift heavy without needing assistance (at least 50 lbs)
  • Leadership/good communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and oversee daily crew operations to ensure and maintain a sufficient utilization and efficiency rate
  • Clock in/clock out crew members
  • Lead and participate in lawn care tasks: mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and clean-up, landscape bed maintenance, and other landscape services
  • Operate and maintain power equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools
  • Ensure proper loading/unloading of trucks and trailers
  • Train and mentor crew members to meet safety and quality standards
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance
  • Communicate effectively with management and clients regarding job progress and issues
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and PPE requirements
  • Able to operate in-house apps
