Quality Inspector - Aerospace

We are looking for a Final Quality Inspector to ensure that all products meet our rigorous standards before they reach our customers. This role requires a keen sense of observation to identify discrepancies in materials, components, and finished products against engineering blueprints.

Responsibilities:

• Review manufacturing documentation to verify job completion
• Request and assemble necessary inspection instruments
• Perform final dimensional and visual inspections
• Conduct first article "Layout" inspections
• Oversee job close-out procedures while coordinating with manufacturing and engineering teams
• Carry out regular and specialized inspections of raw materials, components, and assemblies following established protocols
• Implement and interpret quality assurance standards and operational procedures
• Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to ensure precise inspections
• Document findings and maintain comprehensive inspection reports
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to report quality issues and suggest corrective actions

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in aerospace receiving/inspection
• High attention to detail and precision
• Technical proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, manuals, and technical documents is a must
• Hands-on experience using micrometers and height gauges is a must
