Job Description

Retail Cook is responsible for preparing and/or building food items while providing excellent customer service and adhering to food safety, food handling and sanitation procedures.

• Prepare and build food items according to standardized recipes and directions.
• Store food properly by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
• Set up work stations including prep tables, service counters, hot well, stem tables, etc.
• Break down, clean and sanitize work stations.
• Serve food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating customer needs.
• Replenish food items and ensure product stocked to appropriate levels.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, and co‑workers.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation.
• Ensure security of company assets.

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Food safety certification preferred.

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Attention to detail required.
