Field Service Technician

Quantum Lift is looking for Full Time Service Technicians in our Warren, MI location. This team member works Monday-Friday, first shift hours, and works 40 hours a week with opportunities for overtime. The job involves on-site client installation, repairs, and maintenance of material handling equipment, including forklifts, aerial lifts, dock doors, dock levelers, boom trucks, and floor care equipment, which may use gasoline, propane, diesel, or electric fuel types.

We train individuals with industry experience and newcomers. Once hired, technicians are enrolled in our comprehensive training program, which includes classroom sessions, hands-on/job shadow training, e-learning, and mentoring, all fully paid for.

No tools? No problem! Our "Tools for Technicians" program provides all necessary tools upon onboarding. This 18-month program allows technicians to own their tools after completion. Throughout training, opportunities to earn certifications and additional income are available.

You must complete and clear a drug screen and MVR reports, have a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record.

Starting pay ranges from $20-45/hour, depending on experience.

• Possess strong mechanical aptitude and abilities
• Can lift 50 pounds due to lift and move functions

• Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns
• Communicate repairs effectively with customers
• Complete work orders promptly
• Coordinate daily with parts and service departments
• Keep work van clean and stocked
• Follow all safety procedures within Quantum's guidelines
• Attend scheduled shifts reliably and be ready to work
• Perform other duties as assigned
