Electrician

Summary: The Electrician is responsible for the layout and wiring of electrical components used in tooling systems.

Job Responsibilities:

Handles the layout and installation of electrical components for tooling while ensuring proper function and compliance with electrical standards

Execute tasks with a focus on optimizing time, cost efficiency, and functional performance

Complete assigned tooling in accordance with work requirements utilizing; engineering drawings, customer specifications, and technical manuals as needed Identify electrical problems, and recommend adjustments/repair work as necessary

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on issues that arise

Adhere to company policies and ensure compliance with safety requirements.

All other duties as assigned

Education & Skills Requirements:

2+ years of electrical experience in a machine tool shop

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Able to interpret engineering drawings and successfully layout equipment according to blueprints

High regard for safety standards

Knowledge of welding and automated assembly

Knowledge of Electrical Standards, tooling assembly & setup

Strong written and oral communication skills

Work Environment:This position operates in a plant and manufacturing environment.

Work type & Expected hours of work: Regularly works on-site at local Paslin locations. This position is for regular, full-time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet the needs of the business.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist. May be required to lift/push/pull up to 25lbs.

Travel:
This position does not typically travel.
