Specialty Representative, Psychiatry - Warren, OH

Abb Vie is seeking a field‑based Specialty Representative in psychiatry to work in the Warren, OH area. The role is full‑time and requires the candidate to live within a reasonable distance from the primary city.

US $78,500 – $192,500 per year (based on experience and level).

• Execute brand strategy and tactics, manage territory, and build customer relationships.
• Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, and financial targets.
• Create pre‑call plans and post‑call evaluations to improve performance.
• Proactively serve customer needs and maintain trust‑based relationships.
• Develop and execute call plans to meet call metrics and optimize coverage.
• Share market intelligence with in‑field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Differentiate Abb Vie’s value proposition, develop disease‑state experts.
• Drive a personal auto or company vehicle (if required).

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business (preferred) or equivalent industry experience (minimum five years with at least three in pharma).
• In‑depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge; business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Strong ability to adapt selling approaches to customer styles.
• Impactful leadership, collaboration, and coaching within a matrix environment.
• Proven sales performance in therapeutic areas (preferred). Commercial pharmaceutical experience (preferred).
• English language proficiency in writing and speaking.
• Ability to meet HCIR credentialing requirements (background check, drug screens, immunizations, licenses).
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and pre‑employment drug screening.

External:
Specialty physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other brand‑plan stakeholders. Internal: in‑field team, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand‑plan stakeholders.
