Dietitian/Nutritional Analyst – AVI Food systems
AVI Food systems will be located at AVI Headquarters Service Center in Warren, OH and will serve as a nutrition expert and wellness advocate. Some responsibilities will include (but not limited to) nutritional analysis, nutrition education, and giving nutritional guidance while executing and marketing the overall company culinary initiatives and nutritional program for customers and AVI team members.
Responsibilities- Maintain Dietitian Licensure, Registration, standards and practices based on the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Collaborate with Corporate Chefs for recipe development, nutritional analysis and standardization.
- Utilize nutrition analysis software production program to nutritionally analyze recipes and maintain nutritional data throughout company.
- Support overall maintenance of food production management system.
- Support and approve food labels for Headquarters Culinary Support Center.
- Current knowledge of food regulations and labeling laws is a plus.
- Collaborate with Procurement team to ensure proper food labeling and compliance.
- Oversee nutrition labeling and allergen regulation for food service operation.
- Oversee AVI’s health and wellness program.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to maintain health and wellness materials and program.
- Spread nutrition education and awareness through education and other programming.
- Provide nutrition support for AVI Dietitians within all divisions.
- Participates in AVI projects as needed/assigned.
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Detail orientated.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to multi‑task and manage multiple projects.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and under deadlines.
- Skilled at educating others and ability to present information in one‑on‑one and group formats.
- Skills and knowledge to effectively utilize nutrient analysis software and food production management systems.
- Knowledge of food and nutrition government regulations.
- Experience working with special diets and food allergies.
- Remain knowledgeable of emerging trends in nutrition and dietetics with commitment to continued education.
