Part Assembler

• Pay or shift range: $22 USD to $25 USD

• Layout and build mechanical sub-assemblies including transformers, inductors, bus networks, switches, etc.
• Insulate, tape, clean, and paint sub-assemblies and complete assemblies as required.
• Perform air or water checks on sub-assemblies or assemblies.
• Assemble mechanical and electrical components into cabinets and panels per drawings and shop procedures.
• Perform cutouts on cabinets as needed.
• Interconnect and wire components according to schematics and engineering orders.
• Cut, machine, thread, and drill metal and non-metallic materials.
• Hose and pipe water-cooled equipment per schematics.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Perform minor maintenance and clean-up on machines.
• Move materials using hand trucks, forklifts, and cranes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Special courses or experience in mechanical building, welding, soldering, or plumbing preferred.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Average mathematical and reasoning abilities.
• Experience in mechanical or electrical assembly is a plus.

Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs and work in an industrial environment where smoke, dust, and noise may be present.
