• Staging and removing coils at slitters and for scrap feeding, identification, and removal.
• Assisting the Finishing Operator with duties including slitter setups, changing heads and shafts.
• Assisting in metal movement and core placement at the coating line exit.
• Operating overhead cranes and forklifts to transport materials.
• Performing incidental maintenance and inspections on auxiliary equipment, fueling and oiling forklifts as needed.
• Using hand tools for maintenance, repair, and preventive activities during downtime.
• Completing clerical tasks related to metal quality and production reporting.
• Finishing pack products, operating equipment, and participating in quality and safety programs.
• Cutting test samples and conducting SPC activities.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety in work areas.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college or trade school preferred.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Slitter experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with computers and software.
