The incumbent manages the processes and requirements of ensuring the highest levels of quality control and ensuring that monitoring systems are working properly and effectively. The incumbent communicates with all levels of management and employees to detect and resolve all quality issues regarding production and parts, interacts with maintenance personnel to assure proper equipment operation and reports to the Quality Manager and other management personnel on quality problems.

• Is responsible for PPAP evaluation and submission
• Develops and maintains Datamyte Data Collection System on a weekly basis and supplies reporting for all department managers
• Reports any critical quality problems to the Quality Manager or other management personnel
• Interacts with customers on all quality problems
• Participates on Continuous Improvement Teams, as needed
• Performs failure evaluations on suspect samples and performs evaluations on third party companies as required

• Proficient in organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to multi‑task; possesses analytical skills and confidentiality.
• Works productively and is able to work independently to solve problems.
• Demonstrates good judgment and decision‑making.
• Possesses good verbal and written communication skills.
• Can communicate with all levels of employees (union and management).
• Can adapt to changing work and project situations.
• Is proficient in office administration procedures, applicable software (including Microsoft products, etc.).

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Five plus years experience in a manufacturing operations environment.
