We are delighted to be partnering with a growing engineering business to recruit a Bookkeeper for their team based in Warrenpoint.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a varied role across bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing and wider accounts administration. You’ll take ownership of payroll across both Ireland and the UK, while supporting day-to-day finance activities and monthly internal audit procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Process weekly/monthly payroll across both Ireland and the UK
- Manage PAYE, PRSI, Revenue submissions and statutory deductions
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and complete day-to-day accounts administration
- Prepare, issue and manage customer invoices
- Monitor customer payments and outstanding invoices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Support monthly internal audit procedures and ensure all documentation is complete
- Assist with wider finance and administrative duties as required
- Previous experience in a Bookkeeping, Payroll or Accounts Administration role
- Strong experience processing both Irish and UK payroll
- Experience using Xero
- Good knowledge of Revenue, PAYE, PRSI and payroll compliance
- Strong bookkeeping and invoicing experience
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to a wider team
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
