About you
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS accreditation preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within education, refurbishment, or new build projects
  • Strong knowledge of NEC forms of contract and cost management software
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • High level of financial and commercial awareness
  • Valid CSR card or health & safety training
  • Full UK driving licence and at least 5 years’ construction industry experience
What you’ll do
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and value analyses for large contracts
  • Manage procurement processes for suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Oversee change control procedures, including variations and amendments
  • Collaborate with site teams on measurements, drawings, and take-offs
  • Monitor project costs, produce interim and final accounts, and manage financial reporting
  • Contribute to contract delivery, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards and company policies
  • Lead and mentor junior staff within the estimating team
