Staff Accountant
Our client, a well-established privately owned organization in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support their Finance Director and contribute to key financial objectives. This fully onsite role is ideal for an analytical accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to take ownership of core financial processes. Key Responsibilities- Support the Finance Director across all accounting functions and ensure adherence to GAAP standards.
- Contribute financial data, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation, coordination, and consolidation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Forecast cash requirements, monitor obligations, and maintain appropriate funding levels.
- Research and interpret financial data to respond to internal inquiries, including sales margin analysis and pricing impact.
- Analyze inventory turns to support cost-control measures.
- Perform general accounting duties and support monthly/quarterly financial processes.
- Provide backup support to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information at all times.
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Manufacturing industry or cost accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP system experience.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Strong reconciliation and critical-thinking ability.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
