Accounts Payable Clerk

$18.00 - $20.00/hour

Our manufacturing client in Warrensburg, MO is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to provide vital accounting and administrative support within their finance department. This full‑time, direct hire role is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely vendor payments. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. This fully onsite role offers a competitive wage and benefit package.

• Provide day‑to‑day accounting and clerical support
• Open, sort and distribute mail
• Review incoming invoices and purchase order receivers
• Match invoices with purchase orders and enter data into the accounting system
• Process invoices and download vendor files/invoices from portals
• Research, track and resolve vendor inquiries or discrepancies
• Prepare weekly check run reports for supervisor approval
• Process approved check runs (weekly and/or daily)
• Reconcile AP general ledger activity daily
• Assist accounting staff with additional tasks or projects as needed

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self‑starter with the ability to follow established procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong organizational and data entry skills
