Job Summary

Job Coach (Part‑time – 19 hrs. per week). Scheduled primarily for evenings and weekends.

Location:

Warrensburg, MO.

• Support individuals in employment settings, including community‑based assessment sites, by providing individualized assistance to achieve independence.
• Empower individuals by identifying opportunities for meaningful work, encouraging self‑advocacy, and facilitating task completion without assistance whenever possible.
• Integrate individuals into employment settings by developing natural supports, coordinating transportation, and ensuring appropriate workplace interactions with coworkers and patrons.
• Ensure regulatory compliance by completing required documentation on time and participating in training, meetings, and professional development activities.
• Strengthen a positive workplace culture through courteous communication, kindness, patience, and advocacy for individuals and co‑workers.

• Accountability, attention to detail, compassion, courtesy, ethical decision‑making, initiative, organization, positivity, professional communication, stress management, time management, welcoming attitude.

• Follow directions, document electronically, complete required trainings (e.g., CPR/First Aid), computer and electronic communication literacy, learning focus, organization, person‑centered approach, policy‑supportive mindset, respectful communication, reliability, team building.

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; at least one year of consistent work experience; experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.

  Valid driver’s license, reliable licensed and insured vehicle, reliable form of communication, ability to complete mandatory trainings (e.g., CPR/First Aid).

PTI (less than 19 hours per week) – Various times.
