** Purpose of the Role:**

A staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional registered nurse who directs and/or performs nursing care to patients assigned to their team within the scope of their license. The RN is responsible to the charge nurse and must effectively prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care.

** Requirements:**

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current RN license in Missouri or eligibility to practice in Missouri.
• Knowledge of growth and development across various life stages.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work within hospital policies.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS recommended.

** Physical and Mental Requirements:**

• Ability to sit and stand intermittently for 12 hours.
• Use of standard office equipment.
• Work under pressure with high accuracy.
• Manual dexterity, near vision, speech, hearing.
• Regularly stand, walk, sit, and coordinate eye/hand movements.
• Occasional overhead reaching, lifting up to 35 lbs., walking on uneven surfaces.
