About First Student's Mechanic Position
  • Performing maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drive trains, and transmissions
  • Completing work orders
  • Assisting with mobile emergency services
  • Using diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and repair vehicle issues
You might be a fit for our Mechanic role if:
  • You want to work in a position that meaningfully impacts your community
  • You have at least four years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
  • You have a valid driver’s license and a willingness to obtain a CDL (training provided)
  • You own a mechanic’s tool set
  • You want to grow, learn, and develop your skillset through ASE testing
